March is Launch’s anniversary month, so the agency celebrated in style with an agency dinner March 10th, at the exceptional Steve Field’s restaurant in Plano. The eight-year anniversary party was an evening of fine food, fabulous friends, and shared stories of hard work, great creative and success.
There was only one requirement for entry to the dinner, a contribution of personal insight gained from tenure at Launch. As the staff of 25 went around the massive table between delicious courses, each regaled with agency experiences, inside jokes, and office anecdotes.
It began with a few comically photoshopped pictures of staff members and continued with hilarious memories of office pranks. Diane Seimetz was even awarded the title of Creative Gangsta complete with a giant plush crown.
But the tone of the evening echoed strongest in the unanimous expression of gratitude the employees felt toward Launch and their peers. The heartfelt laughter and camaraderie remained even as the employees called it a night.
Now, with eight years of strategic and insightful work behind them, Launch prepares for eight more. The agency is ready with new surprises and renewed dedication to the clients and communications that made it what it is today.
Happy Anniversary, Launch, and may there be many more to come.

In honor of Launch Agency‘s 7th birthday, the whole team went to Steve Fields (one of the finest restaurants in Plano, and Dallas, for that matter) to celebrate. Nothing like some cocktails, jumbo shrimp, prime steaks, and chocolate cake to hail seven years in business and seven years of consecutive growth.
Employees didn’t drop a dime, but we did have to “sing for our supper.” That is, each person had to create an award and give it to a co-worker. Some awards were serious, some sentimental and some crazy funny. Some even came with trophies, visual aids and a poem. Not a bad deal for a gourmet meal.
Here are just a couple of the awards:

Reuben was given a golden Mexican bean, hand carved from a single block of wood. It honors his bean-styling skills displayed at a recent photo shoot. Very touching, indeed…

Ashley received a can of spinach for having the “best laugh that sounds a little like Popeye.” She was also given a miniature punching bag featuring the faces of two of her favorite co-workers (Jason and Richard).
Principal and Account Director Michael Boone summed it up best, “This is such a fast-paced business; everyone at Launch works very hard and stays constantly busy. It’s a lot of fun to take a night to celebrate our successes and spend time with one another as friends – not simply as friendly coworkers on tight deadlines.”
Launch’s b-day is March 1st (don’t forget to drop us a card or email next year).

Launch Agency just celebrated its 6th anniversary in true Launch fashion — with food! The venue? Cowboy Chow in Dallas’ Deep Ellum to eat, drink, be merry and reflect on six years of hard work, fun and success.
Before digging into their chow, everyone had to “sing for their supper.” The day’s theme: This I Believe. Each Launcher was required to stand up and deliver their thoughts on the topic. Some were scripted, some were ad-libbed, some funny, others poignant, but all provided a personal insight.
As for the food, Cowboy Chow was a treat! All diets and calorie counting were forgotten for one filling, memorable lunch. Little touches — not the least of which was the camaraderie and stellar conversation — made the celebration delightful.
Food has always been an important part of the Launch culture. So, it is said, working at Launch means always saving room for dessert…
