Introducing the newest Account Exec to grace the hallowed halls of Launch Agency, Megan Lucy James (or ML, as she’s often called). Megan Lucy comes to Launch from Bentonville, Arkansas where she was a vital part of the Sam’s Club marketing department for 2½ years. Now she‘s diving into the agency side of the business as we expand our account team to accommodate new clients.
Sam’s Club was Megan Lucy’s first job after graduating from the University of Arkansas (she will “Call the Hogs” if you ask her), where she majored in Journalism, specializing in Advertising and PR. She met her fiancé, Joe, while completing her college internship at a local bank. They hit it off, started dating, and now they’re getting hitched in June. Congrats!
Other fun facts about ML? Her mom was such a huge fan of the 80’s miniseries, The Thornbirds, that she named her daughter after the leading lady character Megan (also known as Meggie ). ML‘s fave food is sushi; we’ll have to school her on proper Tex-Mex. When asked to compare Texas to Arkansas, she diplomatically replied, they re both very different, but also fantastic. And finally, when asked about our wacky antics here at Launch, she said she likes everyone and it’s starting to feel like home.
Welcome to the family, Megan Lucy!

The Launch Thanksgiving Feast is the traditional way for Launch Agency to prepare for the Holidays. The annual potluck lunch was a huge success.
Everyone brought their favorite recipes and family specialties to share. There were plenty of appetizers, three different potato dishes, classic green bean casserole and stuffing, and the main entrees – a delicious Turkey and spiral-sliced ham – purchased from Sam’s Club. And what would the Launchgiving feast be without Creative Director Dave Wilgus’ famous “Lime Dream Salad” (it’s a dessert, it’s a fruit serving, it’s a salad!)? Some of the more popular dishes included KC DeFranco’s homemade sausage and fennel stuffing, Lee Jones’s sweet potato casserole (compliments of Pioneer Woman) and Megan Kelly’s cheesy potato casserole.
Everyone saved room for dessert including two pies, also from Sam’s Club. But the dessert winner was Aspen Taylor’s Pumpkin Gooey Buttercakes. See all the photos from the Launch Thanksgiving Feast in the slideshow below.
